Since 1797, ever since man discovered that diamonds are almost pure carbon, he has not given up his search for the process of making diamonds artificially.
After two centuries of research, some results were finally achieved, and in 1953, a secret diamond experiment was conducted in Sweden. Forty small diamond crystals were produced at the end of the experiment, but the results were not publicly announced by the Swedish Engineering Company (ASEA) because they did not meet the intent of gem-quality diamonds.
It was not until 1955 that General Electric Company (GE) publicly announced the lab grown yellow diamond using the hydrostatic molten media method (GE method for short).
